I had this awesome class at my university back in Mexico called “Audiovisual Media Production”. My teacher at that time told me he was impressed with the work I was doing with the projects and invited me to make the sound design for this piece he was working on for a Pilot Video. By the time I saw who it was made for I freaked out. It was my first Sound Design gig. I remember I did not even worry about my other boring Spanish and Ethic assignments, I was focused on this project and spent the entire day in my home studio. I had my entire family listened to it every time I called it a day. I still hold my good experience I had recording all day and putting those sounds back in my edit session. (Worth mentioning that I did not have enough experience with sound libraries).
